Topics covered include crime, globalisation, relationships, inequality, social media and social research.

During the course you will develop your research skills alongside your debating, data handling and communication skills.

Studying sociology lends itself to a broad range of careers as the skills developed during the course are wide ranging. 

Many sociologists go into the education, legal or social care professions.
