Funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that you and your families have had a good weekend.

You will now be aware that the funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday September 19^th. This will also be a Bank Holiday.

All of our schools will therefore be closed on Monday 19^th September 2022.

During this week of national mourning, our schools will be open as normal but, given the historic significance of the occasion, we will take time to talk with our students about what is happening around them and why. This may be in assemblies, tutor period or during some lessons.
