School Day

The Academy’s learning day begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:15pm.

Registration is conducted using Arbor and gives an accurate indication of attendance, punctuality and absence.

Pupils are expected to arrive at school in plenty of time to ensure that they are seated in their tutor classroom for registration at 8:30am.

• Students are expected to arrive at school by 8:15am, in time for registration at 8:30am
• Students who arrive after 8:30am will be given a 30 minute detention
• All students have a 25 minute registration period
• Students have a 25 minute break and 50 minute lunch each day
• Lessons occur throughout the school day lasting between 50 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes

Enrichment and house activities occur on most days after school and school activities finish at 5:00pm unless prior notice is given otherwise.
