School Day

The Academy’s learning day begins at 8:30am, and ends at 3:15pm.

Registration is conducted using SIMS and gives an accurate indication of attendance, punctuality and absence.

Pupils are expected to arrive at school in plenty of time to ensure that they are seated in their tutor classroom for registration at 8:30am.

• Students are expected to arrive at school in time for 8:30am registration.
• All students have a 25 minute registration period
• Students have a 25 minute break and 50 minute lunch each day
• Lessons occur throughout the school day lasting between 50 to 1 hour 40 minutes

Enrichment and house activities occur on most days after school and school activities finish at 5:00pm unless prior notice is given otherwise.
