Work Experience

What is Work Experience?

Work experience provides students with the opportunity to spend time in a real working environment, helping them develop key skills, build confidence, and explore potential career paths. It is an important step in preparing for life beyond Knights Academy. Students use their work experiences to enhance their UCAS and apprenticeship applications as well as when seeking part-time work.

Currently, Year 10 complete their work experience in the Spring Term.

Year 12 complete their work experience in the Summer Term.

Virtual Work Experience

Virtual work experience allows students to gain practical skills and insights into different careers through online placements and activities. It can be completed whilst in school or at home.

Students are regularly sent work experience opportunities via their student email and are encouraged to apply to work experience opportunities.
